Wow Csaba

No nem World of Warcraft, de azt hittem rosszul olvasom az europlayers.com-on a hírt, miszerint:

The Békéscsaba Raptors of the Hungarian first division have signed ex NFL/CFL receiver Tony Simmons as their new head coach.

Simmons, who played and coached last season for the Triangle Razorbacks of the Danish top division and led them to the Danish championship game, has signed with the Raptors with the goal of building their program and football in Hungary.

The Raptors were formed in 2007 and have improved immensely, advancing to Div. 1 after only three years.

Simmons played for five years in the NFL with the New England Patriots (drafter in 2nd round in 1998 after playing four years at the University of Wisconsin), Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants. In the Canadian Football League he spent a season with the Edmonton Eskimos and three seasons with the B.C. Lions. In 2001, he played for the Barcelona Dragons in NFL Europe, helping them to the World Bowl against the Berlin Thunder. Despite losing the game, 24-17, Simmons was key, scoring a touchdown for the Dragons.

Tony has served as both an offensive coach and strength and conditioning coach with a number of teams and has become an expert in the field of football/track training and development. He will be working at all levels of the organization to help develop the program.
